Dear Aberdeen Parents, girls and friends,

Dear Aberdeen Parents, girls and friends,

Welcome to the House blog. The aim of this blog is to give you access to non-vital information about the House and College. The girls get involved with so much at the College and I hope to use this forum as a way of keeping you informed of the activities they get involved in.

Please do join in and check it out whenever you can.

Best wishes,

Kate Newson

Date for the diary: Coffee Morning

Parents of Aberdeen and Neal are warmly invited to an Open House Coffee Morning in Aberdeen Common Room on Friday 19th October from 11.15 to 12.15pm

It will be hosted by the parents for the parents on the last morning of half term.   Tea and Coffee will be provided and any cakes or biscuits will be gratefully received.

It is an ideal opportunity to meet up at the end of half term when many of you will be there collecting your daughters.

We would love to see you there

Any queries please contact Jo Pierpoint (jopierpoint@yahoo.co.uk) or Kate Newson (kate.newson@ardingly.com)

Star of the week - Kate Hughes

Kate is impressing us all by getting involved in so many aspects of College life.   She is fencing for the school on Saturday and rushing to Christ's Hospital to play hockey, where she is captain.   She has joined the basketball team and plays in the orchestra, oh yes and is performing in Cabaret.   Well done Kate for taking on the challenges that the College has to offer.

Baking for Movie Night

In preparation for movie night, some of the girls got their aprons on and the rolling pins out and whipped about some delicious brownies, cupcakes and mini-pizzas to be enjoyed during Aberdeen's chick flick choice for movie night. Yum!

Star of the Week - Isabelle Price
For the new parents and girls, Aberdeen has a star of the week.  It is a small beautiful little cup which recognises little things that the girls have done.   This week Isabelle Price is the proud winner.   She is new in Remove and has really impressed everyone with her ability to cope with the new challenges she has faced.
