Dear Aberdeen Parents, girls and friends,

Dear Aberdeen Parents, girls and friends,

Welcome to the House blog. The aim of this blog is to give you access to non-vital information about the House and College. The girls get involved with so much at the College and I hope to use this forum as a way of keeping you informed of the activities they get involved in.

Please do join in and check it out whenever you can.

Best wishes,

Special treat - The Teachers perform

We love our lovely teachers - what at great effort and performance.  They rightly received a standing ovation from the whole school.   This was a wonderful way to end a very busy and productive Lent Half Term.

Aberdeen win best Girls House

All the practising and rehearsing paid off.   The whole competition was truly amazing and the standard reached new highlights.   The whole House sang beautifully and made us all proud.   The adjudicator had nothing but high praise for the performance.   Sammi went up proudly to receive the Cup from the adjudicator.   The girls were treated to sweets and chocolate back at House afterwards.  The girls then got ready for the Valentines Disco in the Under.

Well done and Happy Valentines Day.
Enjoy half term when it arrives tomorrow afternoon.

Preparation for the House Singing Comp

The girls have rehearsed well and and are very relaxed before the performance.  Ice-Pops hit the right note.

Shrove Tuesday : Pancake Race

Well Neal did not want to race this year; they were busy practising for the House Music Competition, so Aberdeen decided to go in-house.   5 girls from each year group race against each other, in a relay.   The pancakes were handicapped, the Fifth getting the stodgy one to help slow them down.   It was great fun and the Shell pipped the Fifth to first place, closely followed by the Remove.   Well done to all.
Matron handicapping the Fifth's pancake!

Starting line up

Rachel had no hope against Jess, who is very competitive
