Dear Aberdeen Parents, girls and friends,

Dear Aberdeen Parents, girls and friends,

Welcome to the House blog. The aim of this blog is to give you access to non-vital information about the House and College. The girls get involved with so much at the College and I hope to use this forum as a way of keeping you informed of the activities they get involved in.

Please do join in and check it out whenever you can.

Best wishes,

Kate Newson

Star of the week

Our star of the week this week is...

the vivacious, lively and friendly - Miss Ashley Bradshaw! Ashley is so kind; this week she made cakes for all the girls in Aberdeen. Thank you, Ashley!

Rugby World Cup update

England on their way

Not a totally commanding win, but they got the four tries that give them an extra bonus point, and there were some strong individual efforts. England need to be a lot tighter against the bigger teams, but they were under a lot of pressure and scrutiny tonight and they came through. I thought that Tom Youngs had a particularly strong game, along with the Mike Brown.  The bench played a key role in injecting some much needed energy and impetus.

Nicole has been a great asset to the House and becomes our star of the week for her support and enthusiasm with the organising the Aberdeen Curry night.  She created a well received play list which made everyone dance!
Thank you.

We had great fun with the Curry on Tour, ending with music and fire pits on the Berse.

Please take a look at the picture show below.

Relaxing Sunday

While the Fifth concentrated on the studies, the Remove took a trip bowling in Crawley and the Shell took a relaxing walk around Wakehurst place.

Rhea has started in the Shell and has been really impressive, along with many other girls.
Rhea has joined Ardingly from India and it is her first experience of boarding.   We have been delighted that she has worked well with other members of her group.
