Dear Aberdeen Parents, girls and friends,

Dear Aberdeen Parents, girls and friends,

Welcome to the House blog. The aim of this blog is to give you access to non-vital information about the House and College. The girls get involved with so much at the College and I hope to use this forum as a way of keeping you informed of the activities they get involved in.

Please do join in and check it out whenever you can.

Best wishes,

Kate Newson

U16 Hockey semi-finalists

The girls played so well in the National Championships, first round at Eastbourne last Monday.
They beat, Old Lewis Grammar, Brighton College and Hurstpierpoint College to win their league, and narrowly lost to Eastbourne College 1-0 in the Semi's.
They have really come a long way over the past two seasons - well done.

Weekend cooking - the Aberdeen way

Girls at the Stoop

The girls went on an organised trip to the Stoop, Twickenham to watch Harlequins play Sale.   The had a great time.

Star of the Week: Harriet

Harriet has been amazing in House - helping support those who were feeling under the weather, or with prep.   She has helped to set up the House Face Book account.  Thank you Harriet.

Jeans for Teens TOMORROW

Tomorrow will be a non-uniform day with a focus on the Senior School’s local charity – The Chestnut Tree House.

Remember to bring £1 with you to tomorrow morning’s call-over if you wish to wear your own clothes. Jeans / denim is preferable to fit with the theme of the day. No matter what you choose to wear, do bear in mind that a reasonable standard of appearance will still apply and anyone deemed to be inappropriately dressed will be made to change.

Where will your £1 be going? Find out in the Lower Library at 1:45 tomorrow. A speaker is coming from The Chestnut Tree House and will give a short (15 minute) presentation. Please do come along if you are vaguely curious as to why all their banners are up in the dining hall.
Many thanks,
Mr Lovat and the Charity Focus Team
