Dear Aberdeen Parents, girls and friends,

Dear Aberdeen Parents, girls and friends,

Welcome to the House blog. The aim of this blog is to give you access to non-vital information about the House and College. The girls get involved with so much at the College and I hope to use this forum as a way of keeping you informed of the activities they get involved in.

Please do join in and check it out whenever you can.

Best wishes,

Kate Newson

Final Rehearsal - sounding good

This was the final rehearsal before performing the House Song.   It sounds great.   We are still smiling after winning the Best Girls Song 2013.

A little bit of madness before rehearsing for the House Song 2013

Star of the Week: Maxine

Maxine throws herself into many aspects of College life and is now a College Sacristan.  She has worked really hard at her netball too and is representing the College in the 4th tomorrow.   She is both warm and friendly to all the members of the House and is rightfully Star of the Week.

Busy first week back

Mrs Newson's U14 Boys Hockey Team have become Sussex Hockey Champions this week.   They beat Hurstpierpoint in the Final 4-0.   A great team performance.
They now go on to represent Sussex in the South Regional Championships next week.

Star of the week: All the girls in Aberdeen

After the Singing Competition all the girls came back to House to celebrate together.   Chocolate, sweets and speeches from Mickie!   Well done all.  They all deserve the 'Star of the Week' Award this week!

Special treat - The Teachers perform

We love our lovely teachers - what at great effort and performance.  They rightly received a standing ovation from the whole school.   This was a wonderful way to end a very busy and productive Lent Half Term.
